Hadn't been to Brandi's in a while so after a few drinks in the new restaurant/bar below I thought I'd check it out and see if it had got better/worse/different since last time. You will have your ID scanned and be "wanded" before entry. $15 CAD cover, mandatory coat check. Vancouver being a hockey town, it used to be that if you wore Vancouver Canucks merchandise on a game day the cover was waived. Don't know if that still happens.

Feature dancers are vary from good to great. I'd seen a few disappointments, but generally they are encouraged to show some creativity and flair. I've always liked "the show" so I appreciate that, and coming from an era in Western Canada where features were the main attraction it makes me a bit nostalgic.

Private dances are $50 per - a little steep. Some years back, features would have that price and non-feature girls would be $35 for one and $60 for two. Dances are mostly air, though it can vary, and be a lot better if the girl is comfortable with you. If you're at Brandi's and thinking about a private dance, it's important to ask the price and "what you are getting". I've seen many cases of guys all excited going to the Private Dance Area and come back with a "that's it?" look. I don't mean "extras", I mean value-for-money.

The club is female friendly, but except for the lesbians in the front row there is a strong "my boyfriend dragged me here" vibe.
