Just the girls: This applies to dayshift only. Hustler is a dayshift gem if you want alcohol and are good with more-limited touching (head to the non-alcohol nude clubs for extras). The dayshift lineup on my last trip was pretty hot; dayshift is always a gamble, but here you can always find at least one hot girl, and even the worst days are pretty good, where a good day is surprisingly, pleasingly smoking hot. The girls are the highlight here -- dayshift here has the lightest-touch hustle, and more socializing, than just about any other club. I can't think of a single girl I dislike on dayshift currently, which is pretty fucking amazing. I avoid the $20 airdances and 2-for-$60 light-touch lapdances, and go with the $100-for-3-songs VIPs.

Everything else: In North Beach in SF's most dense SC district, Hustler is an alcohol club where the girls get topless on stage, but all dances are in bikinis. As an alcohol club, touching is far more limited than in SF's free-wheeling non-alcohol clubs. On dayshift, club staff is unobtrusive and, if you make a little effort, downright friendly. Short walk to many other strip clubs and great restaurants. Safe neighborhood.
