First of all,...
First of all, this review covers a visit several months ago at Heartbreakers. It is my understanding that the club is supposed to move very early in 2014 to the location of the old Southern Gentleman's club out I-26 east toward Charleston.
When I am in Columbia I prefer to visit Platinum Plus if I am in town during the day and Heartbreakers if it is a nitetime visit. Accordingly my visit was on a weeknight . On this night the club was offering a special on alcoholic drinks so the club was fairly full with a younger more vocal crowd than usual. I think all drinks were $1 or $2, but since I only got a water, I am not sure of the prices. Water was still the regular price, around $4.
Heartbreakers has a large, well lit parking lot that is in view of the door staff, so I always feel safe and don't worry about any problems with my vehicle. As usual at HB the music was loud, but not as bad as it always is at PP. There were a good mix of dancers on the night I went. I saw about 5 cute spinners and the rest were all ok. In my opinion the dancers at HB, at least on this night, were more attractive than those at PP. I watched the stage show for most of the night and it was decent, given the talent level. I suspect that on a slower, non specials night, the number of both dancers and customers would have been much smaller. I only got two dances that night, both from one of the spinners. The price for the dances I got was 2 for $30, about the same as what the dancers were charging at PP on my last visit there. Touching up top was very liberal, but nothing else to get excited about. I have heard about others getting very good mileage at HB, but that has not been my expeerience. All in all, it was a lot better than spending time in the motel room, but for my serious strip club visits I prefer my favorite clubs in Atlanta and Huntsville. It will be interesting to see the changes in HB once they move into the new location.
