I made two trips one in December other in January. An Ex-girlfriend invited me to her birthday party at Keepers. I'd taken her to strip clubs in the past so I was not surprised. The entrance is a smallish/short hallway and not very welcoming, but opens up into a large well lit room. It was mid-December and the place was decorated for Christmas. It was a nice enough decor. Mid range between shoddy dives and posh clubs. Mirrors, pool tables and 3 kinds of seating: 1)stage side, looking up at the dancers. 2)At tables away from the stage. and 3)2nd level behind a railing looking down toward the stage.

The club seems very couple friendly because I was not the only guy with a date either night I visited. The strange stage layout is a series of platform like islands with an alley in between for the bartender to serve from. The dancers have to take a long uneasy stride in their platform stilettos to cross over from stage to stage which is discouraging them from traveling from where they are to where the soon to feel ignored customers are.

I did not like this feature at all.

The dancers, there was a nice mix of skin colors and ethnicities. From blond with blue eyes to hispanic and asian to black. Non-tattooed to full sleeved body art decorated selections. One who was tall and very thin to a couple who had that little extra cushion. Single moms, a college student and at least one beauty from Russia. Unfortunately many of the dancers were "zoned out" and not really interacting with the patrons and earning the tips. Several danced with their eyes closed or staring at the ceiling. The ones who wandered over to where we were sitting did more talking then dancing, but I have to blame my date for engaging them in conversation that was much more personal then "Dam them are pretty titties" or "Miss, I LOVE your legs". One girl who looked just like Penny from the Big Bang Theory was my personal favorite. One girl who had a pock marked ass skeeved my date enough for her to whisper "Don't you Dare tip her in front of me!" ... But guess who assaulted us with an uninvited bump-n-grind on our barstools, then demanded $20 for a lapdance?? I had to shoo her away as my girl went to the ladies room to (and I quote) "get the smell of whore off me".

Overall Keepers was a more casual atmosphere then I favor. Nice if you like to sitback have a drink and oggle some women from afar. On the plus side, the bartender was not pushy about selling you drinks, and you don't have to spend a lot of money to spend some time there.
