This is the review I hope my wife doesn't happen to notice! Playmate's is a "gentleman's club" in Vanier. Um, what should I say about it? The parking out back is free, which actually is a rarity in this neighbourhood. It is a real no-pressure kind of place - no one is forcing you to buy beer after beer after beer and no one is pressuring you to buy them an expensive bottle of champagne (which happened to me in Istanbul, but that is another story!!). Oh, and there are lots of good looking, nearly naked women wandering around or dancing on a stage. I know, I had you at "free parking", didn't I. Anyhow, despite the sketchiness of some parts of Vanier, Playmate's really is a nice place - the decor (if you actually manage to notice it) is tasteful and classy. This would be the perfect place for a stag or to hang out with the fellas. If this is your scene, then this is your place.
