Lollipops and Diamond Dolls are the better clubs in Daytona Beach. I have been there several evenings. This review is on a Thursday night visit. Pops is in a nicer part of town. It is near restaurants and clubs. Molly Browns is close by. Cover was $10 (no cover before 7pm). Overall it has good atmosphere. Drink prices are similar to other clubs in the area. Club has full bars and 2 stages. It has 2 separate VIP rooms for private dances. The one farther from the bouncer stand is always better. There were also 3 pool tables, if you go to club for such things. Seats are comfortable. In the night shift, there was a large selection of ladies. They average 5-8. Dancer to customer ratio was pretty good (approx. 1:2 ). Private VIP dances are $20 per song with good mileage. It is unclear if there is discount for multiple songs, as it happens in many clubs. I was not offered any by the girls; nor was there any announcement from club while I was there. The best girls tended to hang around regulars, making it difficult to sample them. Unlike other Daytona Beach clubs, Pops require you to buy a $10 wristband for the VIP. Private dances are usually topless. You can touch almost anywhere other than between the legs (at least not fingering). Some may allow more. Song length appears to be pretty short, perhaps as short as 2 min. Clubs used select songs that lasts 4-5 min. Things only seem to go down. Music is good mix of rock, country and hip-hop. It is very enjoyable. Overall I have a good impression of the club. It would be nicer if the club encourages the girls mix with all customers, not regulars who hang around the bar. I will visit again.
