This review is for 2 Fridays...

This review is for 2 Fridays ago. I got there in the early afternoon and I'm glad I did--by 3:30 or 4 p.m. the place was packed. Reminded me of what the club was like a year or two ago when it was at it's peak. I've become a fan of the couches over by where the pool tables used to be. If you can't get high-top table I think these couches are much better than the low-tops. The downside is there isn't a lot of leg room, so if you're tall you may be uncomfortable. But what they lack in leg room they make up for with semi-discreetness. On this particular Friday not only was the crowd huge but the dancer talent level was as good as I've seen it here in a long time. I ran into an old favorite who has returned to the club--she did not disappoint. Best time I've had at Follies in a while, and I had the empty wallet afterwards to prove it. The floor mileage on this day was as good as it's ever been, but I see from reading Shadowcat's review of Oasis that things may be subject to change soon......
