well...i remember babe's in much better...

well...i remember babe's in much better days....i mean maybe 90-98. Remember some really fine babe's then. All gone now. There was a club called Chic up Hillcroft and when it closed they all went to Babe's which was new. Can you believe they wanted you to wear a tie just to get in? And they'd loan you one, if you needed. And dances were $5. They'd have this thing every once in a while throughout the night where all the dancers would get up on the stages at the same time, and come down and to every table and give you a chance to check em out. Of course things were also a lot tamer in a way back then. Seems like the girls were, ....how to say it?....a little less professional and more "casual" about the whole thing back then. And so, back then, you'd go in and hope for the best, but you never knew. As opposed to nowadays, where if you ....well , you know it's available. There's no wondering about it.
