I was in Lawrence for a meeting that ended early enough for me to make a stop by the club before meeting friends for dinner. Two things: first, thanks to another TUSCL reviewer who explained how the membership clubs work in Kansas (apply online before your trip - I did it one week out and had no problem). Anyone attempting to visit without jumping through the membership hoops is going to be turned away. While I didn't go to any other club, I gather that membership is a requirement for all clubs in Kansas. Second, while the ladies were a bit of a mixed bag in looks, I don't think I have ever been in a friendlier club. I was only there for a little more than 30 minutes (with two good quality LDs), but I can still say that it was a very good experience and one I would repeat.
