Stopped by Heartbreakers one afternoon for...

Stopped by Heartbreakers one afternoon for what I figured might be the last time before it closes. If it was the last trip, it was not a fond farewell.

As usual the music was way too loud. There were several dancers, but most stayed clustered at the bar, and were not really circulating with customers. The few who were not at the bar were sitting at tables, presumably with customers, although I never saw any of them buy drinks or go for a private dance. Since most of those dancers were not taking the stage, I wondered exactly what they were doing there.

A few girls would take the stage. Most were not very attractive. A few who looked OK were not very personable. On past visits after tipping a girl they will come by to say “Thanks”, but not today. I think only one dancer stopped by. And I got the feeling she had no real desire to talk or do anything than separate me from my money. I declined a dance, explaining I needed to leave.
