Stopped into the Cricket after a long hiatus and found that the club hadn't changed much. The inside was clean with multiple tables and booths. Booths are reserved but you can sit at any table or at the bar. The cover for a weekend night was $10 and a coat check was required (I wasn't charged, but I don't know if that is standard). The no-smoking ban was in full effect and there appears to be a lounge set up in back for smokers (I don't smoke so I didn't investigate the matter). Several large flat screen TVs surround the bar and stage. Four poles (two on the center stage and two on either end of the bar) are there for the dancers to use. The VIP section is curtained off and has several small booths for semi-private dances and at least five are curtained off for completely private dances. A cute and attentive wait staff made sure I was taken care of but they weren't pushy.

There were 12-15 dancers this night who ranged from 6 to 9s. It was slow for most of the night and a new DJ playing lousy music and provididng a lousy night show put some of the girls in a lazy/crabby mood. Still I was approached by a few dancers, each of whom were pleasant enough to talk to, and I treated myself to a number of trips to the VIP room. Dances are $20 a song with no VIP tax. A tall blond offered extras but at way too high a price for me. A brunette spinner implied that extras were not an option, she had hands that roamed freel and allowed the same. A blonde spinner offered up FIV freely while dropping hints about possible take-out but I didn't explore the option as I knew it would have been out of my price range. As I've never been a big extras guy I can say it was a fun night. Those looking for extras may have better luck during the week or during the dayshifts.
