This is essentially a continuation of my Adelita’s review, so look there for intel on border crossing and other generic issues. HK definitely has a radically more upbeat vibe than Adelita’s. It has loud music, bright lights, go-go dancer spots, lots of waiters pushing drinks and offering to acquire dancers. On this Tuesday late afternoon (6-7), however, the quality seemed slightly lower than Adelita’s. I did see the shaving cream show. Unfortunately, it involved two of the less attractive girls there, and I didn’t want shaving cream all over me, so I kept my distance, despite their invitations.

Although Adelita’s works on a shift, the ubiquitous wait staff informed me that at HK the girls come and go on their own schedules. Despite that ray of hope, I was not overwhelmed by the talent. Generally, they seemed very young and more in the 7 range lookswise. I did chat with a few of the kids, but I returned to Adelita’s for a nightcap after about an hour of checking out the HK scene. If I were to go back, I might take a test drive in a booth to see where things might go.
