I stopped in at Rick's for...

I stopped in at Rick's for the first time. Have been to other Indianapolis clubs, and Ricks on a Saturday evening, an hour past opening, was dead. Dead. We're talking 7pm, folks. Most clubs are at least doing something. Ricks...nada, nothing, zilch. I figured that I'd get a drink, and hey, maybe - just maybe - a dancer might show up and do something. Now, I've been around, and I understand how Indy nightlife works...the later in the night, the busier it gets. But 7pm? Come on...

So I order a drink. Rum and coke. Now let me preface with: I came from Dancers 15 minutes up the road, order the same drink for $3.25. Same size glass, same taste. Prettier waitress. Ricks...$7.25. So, save yourself the money, get your drinks from exit 12 on 465 South and Hwy 40 in Indianapolis.

Can't tell you how the dancers were. I'd imagine pretty hot for the price I paid for a drink. The one plus is that I didn't have to pay a cover (maybe that should have been my hint before going in).
