Having been to the Cricket several times recently, I am willing to concede the lower ratings I gave it for this visit are possibly due to the holidays and not having their regular rotation available. There were five girls working, one of which was a high-energy show and fantastically hot (Quinn). The rest ranged from a maybe 6-7 down to a 4-5. There was no hustle; only one girl approached, sat and talked for a while, and didn't give a hard sell on lap dances. Of course, she was the least attractive; nice enough, but not very hot. She said she was new (3rd day counting her audition, so really 2nd night dancing) and it's possible it was true; her outfit was not really put together - she was wearing office heels, not stripper shoes - and she never introduced herself. None of the other girls stopped to talk or offer a dance, they all seemed to have regulars/friends at the bar and went from the stage to sitting with them. Very few went upstairs for lap dances, and we were there for over 3 hours, so I would definitely say it was a slow night. We arrived around 10 and there were only 2-3 people at the stage and maybe a half dozen between the bar and tables. It got busier for a while, filling most of the stage seats and most of the bar, but it emptied out again around midnight. The waitress was attentive enough and drinks are not very expensive at this club - expensive for the area, but not for a strip club (one mixed drink and a beer was only $10). The Cricket is decently clean but still dive-bar-like, friendly, and laid back. Since none of the girls were hustling, it was extremely inexpensive to hang out and escape from family for a few hours. I've been going there for over 15 years and this visit won't prevent me from going back again. The lineup has always been hit or miss on both the physical quality of the girls and how friendly they are coming to chat at the tables.
