I finally paid a visit to the Klassy Cat. It was a Saturday afternoon with a handful of customers and three dancers working, though a fourth dancer did show up about an hour later. There’s no cover in the afternoon, which always encourages a brief mid-day visit. The place is physically dated and a bit rundown, but comfortable enough.

First impressions are important, and the bartender excels in that department. She’s sexy, personable, and attentive. Personally, I don’t drink beer during the afternoon, so I usually settle on a Coke. At the Cat, the Coke is $2, much more reasonable than the $5 charged at other clubs. That’s a big, respectful plus in my book.

Now for the dancers, which is the reason for paying a visit in the first place. They’re good looking and put on a nice up-close show when you tip. There’s not a lot of contact, but it’s still well-worth the dollar and kept me on my stage-side seat for a while. While that’s good when you’re the one tipping, it can be a drag when the dancer is getting tips at the far end of the stage, giving you very little to look at.
