I am a new member, and...

I am a new member, and this is my first review. I have lurked for a few weeks and thought I would write a review of Down In Texas Saloon to give another perspective to the glowing reviews this place has received so far.

I was working in town and on my last night decided to partake of some SC action. Was staying at the HGI in Round Rock, the desk help seemed pretty cool, so I asked him what clubs he recommended. He responded with free entry passes to Down In Texas Saloon and Perfect 10's (Never hurts to ask, guys). My travel partner and I chose to go to Down in Texas Saloon first, knowing that it was a new place.

We walked in and the place was very impressive to look at. Country theme, full bar, no issue with the free cover passes, busty and hot front desk gal. I also noticed the waitresses immediately. All smoking hot, none lower than an 8, and the oldest was maybe 25. However, it went downhill from there. We were in the club for about 40 minutes, and besides the bartender who gave us our first drinks, no dancers or waitresses spoke to us for the rest of our visit as far as asking us if we wanted drinks or dances. We noticed that waitresses were hanging out at particular tables the whole time, that dancers didn't walk around and didn't respond to the DJ's call for all dancers...maybe three actually took the stage.
