I went to Pink Pony a...

I went to Pink Pony a week or so ago after a suggestion by a dancer at another club; she mentioned it as one of the classiest clubs in Atlanta, and so I went with high expectations. When I arrived on the Friday after work, the parking lot was almost empty (no need to pay for valet), at least and a badged police officer greeted me on my way in. these omens foreshadowed my entire visit to the club, which was mercifully brief.

There are two large bars at the front of the room, which strangely had the appearance of being the back of the room. yes, it felt like I had entered from the rear of the building. behind each bar was a small stage, maybe 8 feet at most, and there is one larger stage down the middle of the room. booths lined the front of the room, and most of the room past the bars are small tables. it looked like it could seat quite a few. there was a large bar along the back left of the room, and the back right had a sign proclaiming 'VIP' with some muslin cloths covering small doorways.

I counted about ten patrons and about five dancers. Two dancers were on stage, looking as bored as could be; two were with one guy at one bar, and one was with another guy at another bar. I sat at a dirty booth. None were clean; I found a menu scattered on the table and thought I might order some wings, but no waitress ever appeared. Each of the dancers were bikini clothed, with no stripping nor teasing, and there were no table dances happening at all.
