I've visited Dreamgirls at Ricks several times now, but I went on a Saturday night with a ladyfriend of mine for the first time a few weeks back, and I thought I should add that perspective here.

1) The girls will be far less likely to approach either one of you when you're with someone. This can be good if you just want to relax and take in the ambiance.

2) The dancers are noticeably more tense around couples than they are around singles. I'm assuming you've been to a club on your own before, so it's probably not a big deal for you. However, if you want your girl to have some fun, make sure she gets a dance on her own or goes up to the tip rail without you. One of the dancers really got into it when my companion went up to the tip rail -- there was serious on pussy on face action right there for all to see. One of the dancers that went private got up under her shirt too -- good fun.

3) As usual with this club, they bring all of the girls onstage roughly once an hour starting around 10pm, and they invite you to choose a girl to take back for a 3 songs for $40 deal. That's the only time I ever buy dances when I'm at Rick's, but most girls will give you a 3 for $40 on the spot if you tell them you're waiting for it. Both girls I got dances from that night said they'd be happy to do a couple's dance at no additional charge too. I've always found the girls to be friendly and accommodating for reasonable requests like that. I have never tried to do any "extras", so I don't know what kind of mileage you can get for those of you who are into that sort of thing. I suspect you won't find much -- it tends to be a pretty clean club.
