I was in Roanoke for one...

I was in Roanoke for one night and after doing some research I discovered that this is the only club in Roanoke. I visited on a Tuesday night at 7pm so I’ll try not to be too rough on the number of dancers. I was buzzed in by a guy working in an attached tattoo parlor. He told me that the membership fee was $20.00 which was good for 6 months. After you pay the membership the entry fee would be $10.00 every time you returned over the next 6 months. I filled out a bunch of forms where I was asked if I was affiliated with Law Enforcement on three different sections. Thankfully they didn’t ask me if I’d ever masturbated, fantasied about my 6th grade math teacher or cheated on my taxes. While I was filling out my life history at the tattoo parlor window I saw at least 8 people in 3 different groups turn around and leave after being told of the membership fee. I feel this hinders business because I was the only one in the club for the first 30 minutes. Two gentlemen in their 70’s came in a short time later. I left 2 hours later leaving the two older guys as the only ones in the club.

I paid by fee and entered the club. The bar consisted of bottled water, sodas, red bull, bags of chips and crackers. Vending machine food at best and no alcohol. The guy at the door told me that it was illegal to operate a fully nude club and serve alcohol. The girls told me it was due to a law that required bars to make so much money in food sales in order to hold a liqueur license. This club has no kitchen.

The previous reviewers have been somewhat kind when describing the interior of this club. The bar area is old and in poor condition. The floors are damaged, the wooden stools around the stage are uncomfortable and make your neck hurt due to the height in relation to the stage. Music is provided by a jukebox on the stage. Let me be perfectly clear. This club can only be described as a shit hole.
