After checking out the reviews, Flight Club was the nearest club that showed promise. It was my first Detroit club, and didn't look all that great on the outside, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the inside. Much better/newer than I expected.

The girls were a different story. I don't know why things seem so difficult in Detroit, but what I saw confirmed the many reviews. Instead of girl after girl coming to you to offer their services like in other cities, the girls seem to stick to chatting with each other or their regulars. New visitors like myself are generally ignored. After about 20 minutes, a girl finally came up to me. She wasn't exactly my type but I decided to try her anyway since I was bored. She wanted to sell me more time but I politely declined. She offered to help me find a girl I like if I paid her, and I did. She left and never came back, and apologized half-heartedly later when I saw her chatting up another guy while leaving me waiting. I had to fend for myself.

Fortunately, I liked one of the girls who came on stage, and we had a great time in VIP. The night was saved.
