Stopped in for the first time...

Stopped in for the first time in a year and a half....Nothing much had changed since last visit....Bar on the right side as you walk in, on your left a row of banquettes, backed by a raised section that runs just past the stage....midway to the back of the bar, on the left, across from the end of the stage are stairs to the VIP Dancing area....Took a seat on the edge of the rear raised section for a good view of the stage...The waitress took over 10 minutes to ask for my order....btw there were only 6 or 7 other patrons when I arrived a little before 5pm....She was busy talking to the doorman and bartender....Drink arrived quickly enough after I had ordered...Paid $7 for Rye and Ginger... tipped the server $2....

Was approached by an average looking girl with a nice body who wanted to sit and talk.... I told I wasn't interested at this time since I had just arrived...She seemed non-pulsed by the rejection and walked away after saying goodbye...The girl who was on stage came over by where I was sitting and got dressed and planted herself at my table, and said I will be back, watch my drink....And in 2 minutes she came back... After a couple of minutes of verbal jawing, the dj came by and asked her if she would mind going on again because they were short of girls, she said no problem... I had at that time seen 4 other girls on stage and wasn't blown away by any of them, but would not say that any of the girls were less than average looking, so a pleasant situation...Well the dj got me off the hook from rejecting her for dances, nice girl but not my type...Time for another drink and the waitress is nowhere to be found ...5:50 she reappears, I order my drink, she comes back at 6:05 to tell me the night price is now in effect and the drink is $9....I almost lost it...Instead I tried to reason with her but she had an attitude when I said I ordered the drink well before 6pm, she replied it was the bartender and managers fault....Paid the $9, tipped $1 , drank my drink in 1 long gulp and left not to return anytime soon when she is the waitress....No nametags, but brunette dressed in black, almost cute, probably 24 or 25 yrs old ... Left me very disappointed....
