I find the strip club scene...

I find the strip club scene in Honolulu to be, well, strange. I've been vacationing in Hawaii for many years, and the strip club scene here has always, well, sucked. And it really puzzles me. You'd think that chicks from all over would love to come to Honolulu to work and live, which means a huge supply of dancers. And with customers in a great frame of mind cuz they're on vacation, you'd think this place would be a natural for all kinds of awesome strip club action.

But it sucks. And it, IMO, always has sucked. And I've never understood why. Maybe it's the Asian culture of the girls who dance here. In the US, there are generally very few Asian strippers working at clubs, in spite of a huge population. Why is that? Who knows? Maybe some cultural stigma associated with strippers that makes it tough for them to be strippers.

And Femme Nu, like the other Honolulu clubs, generally is, for a me, a complete waste of time. I stopped in, one again, for the umpteenth time, just to see how things were. But it still hasn't changed in all these years. Bad attitudes of the dancers, no mileage, and just no fun at all. It's been around forever, but has never delivered. It seems more along the lines of some of the low end Vegas clubs, which are designed solely to extract money from unsuspecting tourists.
