This is a review of 2 (and 1/2) separate visits to the Red Garter. Went out after dinner on a Thursday night with some friends as we were staying in downtown Indianapolis for work for the weekend. It was very low key on Thursday with about 10 to 15 dancers working. Not a ton of patrons, so seating was wherever you wanted. There were 3 stages working and the girl would stay on stage for 2 (maybe 3) songs, usually getting a little more naked each one. Bikini always stays on though, Indiana law I assume. Drinks were not too expensive. I believe I was drinking Sam Adams bottles for 4.50 or 5. The private dances are back in a room with a bouncer standing right outside. No real touching from patron to dancer and the couple I got were mostly air. That said, I found a very nice lady who ended up having drinks and sitting on my lap all evening. Very engaging in conversation and fun to talk to. We went upstairs for an extended dance. More fun up there, $160 for 1/2 hour. More touching allowed, but a bouncer right there and no mileage. However it was a very fun and relaxing time up there. She gave me a massage in addition to dancing the whole time.

Moving on to Saturday, it was the weekend of the Big Ten Championship and I stopped in to 'tailgate' here. Never pregamed at a strip club, but it was PACKED and bouncing! Lots of fun with tons of MSU and OSU fans. Short walk to Lucas Oil Stadium also. I went back after the game and it was equally poppin. Depending on the experience you are looking for, it seems like this club could provide either (aside from the lack of mileage).
