I was traveling I94 and wanted to stop at a high mileage strip club for an afternoon visit. I tried to locate Honey's, long noted for a liberal mileage policy. Interestingly, the address provided by TUSCK was incorrect. The club has moved further east on Melton Road. Honey's showed no signs of being open for business on Thursday afternoon so I looked for an alternative. The only adult business that appeared to be thriving was an adult book and DVD store named Romantix that had a pretty busy parking lot. I didn't stop there, being suspicious that it was a gay hangout-- I'm not homophobic, just programmed to be interested in naked women. I decided to make a first ever visit to Polekatz, also located on Melton Road.

It is a moderate sized club with a pretty standard set up for a strip club. It featured a raised stage in the middle of the room with chairs located around the stage at the tip rail. The remainder of the space consisted of a scattering of tables and a bar along one side of the club. The private dance area was a bit disappointing in that it was screened off from the larger club but consisted of padded benches that had a view of other private bench areas; in other words, it wasn't really very private.

The talent consisted of two dancers, one of whom was nice enough but was still showing signs of a recent pregnancy. The other was maybe a 7 but she seemed to have a queen bee attitude, refusing to show any skin during her brief, uninspired stint on stage. Like all Indiana clubs, this one requires pasties over the nipples. I arranged for a private dance with the friendly dancer with the post-baby belly. She was nice but the dance was only OK-- some touching but certainly nothing to get too excited about. On the positive side, beer was cheap and the music not so loud as to prevent conversation.
