I can't really recommend Minx, I got a strange vibe from this place. There was a big show of bouncers searching at the door, closely escorting you to the door, etc, whereas other places usually have a friendly door girl.

Inside, it looked like a place trying to be an exclusive hip hop club, but someone forgot to bring the girls. It is big space, with two private dance areas, a regular and a VIP, and though there was an appealing neon light at the "sky boxes," I did not see any customers or dancers up there.

Typical Iowa BYOB club, bring beers but no hard liquor, none sold on site, cover was $10. Regular private dances were $25, and there were high-dollar timed VIP shows that I did not do.
