This is the only club I've visited in the Ottawa area, and it pretty much matched both expectations and TUSCL reviews. The staff here is noticeably colder and aloof than most of the clubs I've visited in larger cities though. I believe it was a $3 cover when I went and mandatory coat check.

Girls were a little better looking than I thought they'd be - but the lap dances here weren't anything spectacular. They take place in a separate room with different music than the main floor as well. Beers were nice and cold, and are $6.50 each.

A drawback to this place though is it's dive bar sort of atmosphere. Each time I've went, there's been at least one patron who is just sloppy/stupid drunk. Like pathetic, old man drunk who just keeps talking everyone's ear off. Those guys tend to get bounced rather quickly in the bigger, more upscale clubs that I'm used to visiting in the U.S. so that's an annoying element I didn't care for. I didn't get a chance to make it to the Bare Fax when in Ottawa and that was the other place I was considering so it may prove better. But the reviews here are what made me go to Barbarella's and they were about accurate and since Bare Fax's reviews are actually worse - this might be the better choice when all is said and done.
