TD’s North is the closest thing...

TD’s North is the closest thing Albuquerque has to a classy gentleman’s club. Which means like much of New Mexico, class here is a bit lower than in much of the country, but cheaper. Not worse, just more down to earth. I think TD’s North is your best bet for clubs while you are in Albuquerque.

When you enter the club you will be asked for your driver’s license and then wand you. They scan the driver’s license, mostly to protect them against the Alcohol Control Board’s policies on underage drinking. You can get a beer at the door for $0.50 less than inside. The club is dark, but not too dark. There are two stages, a large one, where if it is busy enough is occupied by two dancers, and a smaller stage, which dancers rotate to after finishing on stage one. There are chairs and tables, and couches along the walls. You are best off along the wall. The wait staff is friendly. They serve food, which is cheap and not too bad, but don’t expect gourmet, and have daily specials. It is a good place for lunch. Drinks are on the expensive side, but still within reason.

Lap dances are $10 on the floor and $25 in the two VIP rooms. The floor dances can be high mileage, depending on the dancer, and with the right dancer he VIP dances can be very high mileage. They recently opened a new VIP room with partitioned and that is the best place to go. Due to City Council rules, VIP rooms cannot have doors, so the old VIP room has curtains in place of a door.
