I hadn't been to Centerfolds 2000...

I hadn't been to Centerfolds 2000 (previous club at this address) for several years, but as far as I can tell they must have removed everything including some of the previous interior walls. The new club looks great. I visited about 6 PM on the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving Holiday. The main bar also serves as the main stage. The bar is roughly square shaped and has seating for about 50 patrons. Of the 50 seats, 20 are in prime position to watch the dancer, while the other 30 seats are at sections of the bar that allow the waitress/bartender to take your drink order. The bar surface is expanded at several points on each side of the square so that the dancer can do floor work or dance. While you are sitting at the bar, your head is at knee level for the dancer. When I arrived, a dancer was on stage on the opposite side of the bar in front of a group of five or six guys. I sat down, ordered a beer, and soon discovered that one of the ceiling mounted spot lights would focus intense bright white light on that seat every 30 seconds or so, even though the dancer was 15 yards away on the opposite side of the bar. I moved to another seat, waiting for the dancer to come over. After 2 or 3 more songs she made it by briefly before returning to the group of five. She was still wearing a thong, but would move it to the side for your viewing pleasure. Two songs later the dancer's set was over and the stage was empty for another 4-5 songs. I finished my beer at that point and left the club. I saw one other dancer in the club during the 45 minutes I was there, but her shift must have been over since she seemed to be waiting for the first dancer to get off the stage so they could leave. Maybe the low number of dancers was explained by the approaching holiday, the rainy weather, or the time of night. There were less than 10 men when I was there, so maybe the club isn't hiring many dancers until business picks up.
