Was here a month ago, and was passing by on Rt 95 and didn't want to deal with the rush hour traffic. Had a long ride ahead of me from NYC to Boston, so I figured i would stop for an hour and enjoy the sights. Got to Rubys around 5 - bunch of regulars sitting around the bar. Walked into the stage area, and pulled a seat by a table. While sipping my $3.50 coke, recognized that there were only about 3 other people on this side of the bar. Two girls up on stage. Probably a total of 10 girls working. Two danced at a time, and they switched every ten minutes. Nice mix - Brazilian, black, white. Most girls were in the 5-6 range, with one or two in the 8 range and one or two in the "past your prime" 3-4 range. Most dancers were very friendly, stopped by and said hello, asked in I wanted a dance, chatted a bit, and moved on. None were overtly pushy. Got my first dance from a new girl (new to me) and the first dance was $20 ($10 to her and $10 to the house is the split). Any additional dances during that session the girl keeps 100% of. Had two dances for $40. The girl was cute, and seemed very nice when we first met and chatted. The first dance was nice, almost romantic, but not a "dirty dance" by any stretch. Very little two way touching at all. Hoping that she was warming up, and warming me up, I agreed to the second song. To my dismay, it was more of the same. Nice girl, disappointing dance, waste of $40. So I went back to the stage, and soon enough, agreed to a dance with a girl who I had seen before at Rubys and was a "regular" dancer there. Off we went to the back - and while there was a bit more two way contact, it was not up to the standards of what I had come to like Rubys for. Now, I had heard that at one time there was lots of action going on in the back room and the bouncer could be convinced to look the other way. I never had that happen to me nor did I ever see that. However, I have had some pretty terrific dances at Rubys in the past with tremendous two way contact everywhere, stopping just short of getting laid or a blow job. This trip and my last few, have been nowhere close. These lap dances barely involved the girls sitting on my lap Overall, I must say that one of my favorite spots seems to be becoming a disappointment. Perhaps its time to go in search of a new place.
