I was headed south on I-71...

I was headed south on I-71 on Wednesday a little while ago after a business trip and I thought that I would give this place another try. It is conveniently located right off of the expressway at exit 57 to Sparta, KY. This is the same exit as the Kentucky Motor Speedway but on the opposite side of the interstate. I've always thought that this place has a great setup for some extracurricular fun. It has a truck stop, strip club, and a small motel all in the same large parking lot. However I am not personally aware of anything extra going on.

The place is OK looking inside and out; not too fancy, not too rundown. I was not assessed any cover charge upon entry. After I went in I found out why; there were no dancers on duty. Apparently they do not typically arrive until around 8:00 on week days. I hung out with a very cute bartender and had a few beers before getting back on the road to head home. A disappointing trip but this place always seems to be hit or miss. Obviously it is a lot better around race days.

I am not sure if this is true but someone told me that it just recently closed. He wasn't sure if that was permanent or if they were remodeling.
