I made it to the Platinum...

I made it to the Platinum Plus recently for an afternoon of fun and frivolity. On this particular day, there were 12-15 dancers working, most of whom I recognized. A couple have moved over from the Trophy Club for some various reasons I suppose. As is always the case, about half the dancers sit near the door on their phones or sit at a table near the bar, perhaps waiting on a regular or just having a lazy day. The club seems to be trying out daily drink specials in addition to the 4-8pm happy hour. I've only made one special day and it was Jager shots for $3.

The physical club hasn't changed at all and the prices are the same as always, both for drinks and for dances...2 for $40 will get it done with practically all the dancers there. I'm sure the hagglers can get 2 for $30 from some, but I just pony up the $20 per dance. The ages and quality of the dancers are pretty much the same as well, although as we all know it only takes one to make your day. One thing different I noticed this trip was the fact that dancers didn't seem to be shy about joining a conversation with another dancer and customer. I like to sit at the bar, and there were 3 separate dancers either walked over or pulled up a bar stool where I was trying to talk to my dancer of the afternoon. They weren't rude or try to steal me away from my dancer, but it seems a little odd to me. I've had 3 way (conversations) with dancers before and generally once they start talking to each other it's blah blah blah to my ears. It's all about me girls!

I did have a pretty decent time but most of the reason was because of the company I discovered. I don't think many of the dancers will do extras in the couch rooms, although the $600 vip may be a different story with the right dancer. With the holidays approaching, maybe we will have some better times, but I'm not holding my breath at this club.
