Centerfolds feels more like a local neighborhood bar than a typical strip club. This applies not just to the atmosphere as it relates to the clientele but also as it relates to the dancers. Honestly, I've seen dancers in the club arrive for their shift, do their 2 song stage set, then spend the next couple hours drinking and sitting with friends or customers they know, and never once ask anyone if they want a dance. It's a bit bizarre at times. On the one hand it's kind of nice that the girls tend to not be pushy, but on the other hand it can be difficult to get a dance with your lady of choice. You get the impression with some of the dancers that they just show up to hang out and party with their friends (while walking around half naked), and if they happen to make a few bucks while they're there, then all the better. lol

That being said, the place has its charms. It's very laid back and generally has a decent selection of dancers. And while I'd have to say the overall quality of the girls is a step down from the Hi-Liter or Bourbon Street, there is usually at least one or two very nice looking dancers on shift, especially weekend evenings.

All and all, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and very little pressure to spend on lap dances if you're not so inclined. And while I'd have to say the average Hi-Liter dancer is probably a little more inclined to give a bit more in the way of "extras" for your lap dance dollar, Centerfolds floor dances are still 10 dollars and you can get a pretty aggressive lap dance if you take your time and find the right girl.

All and all, a good value and one of the most relaxed atmospheres of any strip club in the Phoenix area.
