Dancers we're great! Sexy and very nice! talkative and not too pushy (minus a couple girls) The bar tenders are also VERY nice and beautiful. Security is awesome and the music choices are great! My ONLY problem was the woman at coat check, it was -7 out and she would not let me get my coat to go out for a cigarette (We we're just as wild as anyone else in the bar, there was absolutely NO reason for her to treat us like this)... After about 10 minutes of bickering with her back and forth she finally gave me my coat but when I came back in to return my coat I double checked my pickets to make sure i didn't leave my wallet or cell phone in my coat and her exact words to me we're "can you hurry up, don't take your time" and that threw me off and ruined my vibe. After 20 minutes of trying to get the manager to come out (who never showed up) and speak with me I ended up speaking to security who by the way was very understanding and nice to me and my friends. After a couple more shots and a couple more beers we decided to call it a night, but as we went to grab our coats, ONCE AGAIN coat check lady gave us troubles to get our coats and mumbled rude comments and gave me and my 2 other guests dirty looks the whole time which to me was completely non professional so once again I spoke with security and they said "she was on her period" To be honest That is no damn excuse to have bad service, if your on your period don't come in to work or atelast TRY and be a PROFESSIONAL. I just think the coat check lady was a real B I T C H, and because of her I will NEVER step foot back in Solid Gold. If it wasn't for the snobby old lady spouting off smart remarks and giving us cut eye all night I would have definitely gave this place a 9 out of 10 at the least.... Instead I give it a 5 out of 10 for the horrible front door service.... Besides that the women are VERY gorgeous and the bartenders are friendly as can be, security aren't some roided up juice heads either like most clubs they are nice guys.
