I was in town for one...

I was in town for one night and my hotel was just down the street from the Allstar so I thought I'd pop in for a visit. They are not kidding when they say that they strong arm you for a "gratuity" if you want to sit down front. After having just paid a cover charge, I wasn't about to fork over another $20 to the bouncer for a seat down front. As such, I was relegated to the seats in the back, on the side. The problem with this is that this club is pretty dark and the smoke machines (or smokers, I couldn't tell) were running hard, so all I could see from the back seats was a general outline of the dancer and not much more. I stayed for about two sets and then bailed out. No sense sitting here without binoculars. I headed down into town to the Admiral and had a MUCH better time.

Sorry guys, you can't charge a cover AND a "gratuity" and expect to have a faithful following.
