I was in Atlanta on business...

I was in Atlanta on business and wanted to find a club to hit on Wednesday night. I read through reviews of a bunch of clubs on here and decided to hit Follies. I was a little apprehensive as everyone pretty much said that the day shift was much better than the night shift but I couldn't really tell from any of the reviews what times of day constituted the "day shift". Anyway, it was about 8:00pm when I got there so I am guessing it was about the end or close to the end of the day shift. I had to pay for Valet parking that was $5.00 which I thought was pretty reasonable so no problems there. I was a little disappointed when I went in because everyone said they got frisked by a cute girl, but when I went in it was a GIANT black dude... It was a pretty noninvasive pat down so no big deal. Not that I would have complained to him, cause he probably would have done a pile driver on me.

It was pretty dark inside and pretty smokey. Had to give my eyes a chance to adjust to the lighting a bit. It is not a big place and was set up with tall chairs at each end with the stages in the middle and a three rows of sofas in the middle. At first the only place to sit was on the sofas so that is where I parked.

I had to flag down a waitress to order a drink (cash only). I got a beer which I think it was 5.00 so not unreasonable.
