While I was visiting Illinois on business I decided to try the silver slipper saloon. It was very easy to find, right off of i88. The cover was 6 bucks. It was a two story building, with the first story being a main stage and 2 auxiliary stages. To the left was the bar. The bar itself was fully stocked and had a nice selection of any thing you would want. The middle was a variety of tables and chairs for the patrons. To the far right was about 5-6 pool tables. The second story was while the lap dances would occur ( more about that in a second). Smoking was not allowed in the club but one could come and go as they pleased for smoking. The club reminded me of a roadhouse atmosphere.

The dancers overall were pretty good ranging ranging from decent to hot. I decided to get lap dance. It was 25 dollar and it was an air dance. Air dances are the bane of my existence, along with terrorists And my arthritis. I assumed she was the type of dancer who gave air dances and shrugged it off. I got another lap dance from another girl and that too was another freaking air dance. I began to look around and noticed that all the patrons were getting air dances. I chalked up my losses, drank my whiskey and left. The silver slipper saloon seems to be a really good bar that has topless women dancing, but after my experience, I hesitate to call it a strip club
