After a great business dinner at the Bellagio, a couple of coworkers and I decided to hit Sapphire for the evening. I had fond memories from going to the club last year and was hoping for a repeat performance, unfortunately it didn't quite live up to memory.

The club was just as big as I remembered it, but as it was a Wednesday evening the back stage and seating area were closed. We were descended on by girls as soon as we walked in and they followed us to the bar. One girl in particular was super pushy and didn't seem to get the hint that I wasn't interested in a dance. She finally took the hit when the waitress came by and she asked if I would buy her a drink and I said no. With the prices for drinks here there was no way I was buying her a drink when I wasn't interested in a dance. As a side note, that same girl came back later and gave a lap dance to one of my coworkers and tried to charge him $60, so she was obviously hustling that night.

The extremely pushy girls aside, the talent at Sapphire is almost always top notch, girls for almost any taste. I tried getting dances from a few different girls, hoping to repeat the magic of my visit last year, but it just wasn't meant to be. The dances were quite good with decent mileage, but I never did find that one girl I could spend multiple hours with. My coworkers and I left after a good 4 hour visit and quite a bit of money spent on booze. I will definitely visit Sapphire again, but I doubt I'll ever recapture the magic of that first visit.
