I entered the Mardi Gras a couple of weeks ago for the first time in almost 10 years. Yes it has been awhile. I got there around 5-6pm on a Saturday afternoon. There was no cover charge. The general set-up is still roughly the same. There is a large oval shape bar with 5-6 dancers doing topless dances for the patrons sitting around the bar. I sat around the bar and ordered a beer. It was around 5 bucks a beer (which isn't too bad). There is also another section of the club where there are no strippers. As soon as you walk in there is a general looking bar that presumably serves food and there are plenty of TV's. So if you are just looking for a casual setting this club could be for you, especially if you arrive before there is a cover charge.

As I said, I was sitting around the bar and I got the attention of one of the dancers. She was a slender Caucasian woman. I would say she was about a 7. She had a good body, but it looked like she had been doing this for quite some time. I would not describe her as young. She did a nice routine for me as I was sitting at the bar for a couple of minutes, and then she asked me if I wanted to do anything more. I naturally said yes and asked her how much a private dance costs. At Mardi Gras dances are 25 bucks a song. They take you to a semi-private room. The reason why I say semi-private is because there is no privacy once you are in the room. It is just a large room with couches and chairs. So you can see other people and they can see you as you are getting a lap dance. The length of the songs are average. I have been to other places where they have been shorter. I had two dances that were very good. My dancer allowed contact, but she didn't contact me as much as I would have liked. She didn't offer me the champagne room, but that was ok. Overall it was a good trip.

Next time I am in the area I will pay them a visit. Just hopefully it is not in another 10 years.
