The rollercoaster that is the Sands...

The rollercoaster that is the Sands -- I've had the greatest and worst experiences there. It all depends on whose dancing, what the crowd is like, what manager is on duty, the alignment of the planets etc. I still like the funkiness, randomness, the occasional forays into absurdity. I also like the fact that mileage can be crazy here -- the VIP dances are $40, and they can be very, very good without ever going up in price. Very few upsellers here. The VIP room is also fairly wide open -- remember that what you do can usually be seen by anyone else in the VIP. Luckily, the dancers are fairly open-minded (and what the hell, so are the customers). Still, you have been warned.

Dancer selection is still not the Sands' forte -- I haven't seen a new dancer in a while that's done anything for me. The veterans -- Luna, Pepper, Shante, Heidi, Jamie -- are still in fine form and give you your money's worth.
