Follies is a really good club....

Follies is a really good club. It used to be great club but has fallen off over the last several years. Our visit was during the afternoon and be warned the club changes at night. Amazingly it is two different clubs: one during day and different at night.

Let's start with the good. Starts when you walk in and get frisked by cute blonde x-dancer. Tip her and give her swat on ass for me. Great dances! Lots of grinding and contact by the girls, and great value at $10 per song. During day shift you have white, Latina, and black girls but not many Asians. We did not do VIP, but others said it was best value in the city. During the afternoon Follies has free buffet and the bar back (Dijon) does a great job with the buffet. The drinks are reasonably priced and servers are running around everywhere. The strippers tend to hang with the regulars. So if you find one you are interested in you need to make a move. Follies is very laid back, so it is not unusual to see the girls running around bottomless or topless which is very nice. There are 4 seating options: couches (they suck), bar (which is OK), small tables (our favorite when getting dances from smaller girls), and high tops around the edges (preferred by the locals). One of my pet peeves is the sink monkey at all the Atlanta clubs. My dad taught me how to piss so don't need help. The sink monkey at Follies is one of the nicest guys around and informative. The bouncers and day manager are very nice and helpful.

The bad. Over the last couple of years the quality of the girls has gone from 7-8s to 5-6s. We come for the girls. And it is bad to see the quality drop off. The other bad thing is Follies is really small and can get very crowded. I asked the manager if they plan to expand and he said they could not. Over the last year they have removed the pool table which made a limited amount of more space. Small club means incredibly smokey. Follies has 2 crappy TVs so if you want to watch sports & strippers this is not the place for you.
