This was my first visit to Buck Rubs, and aside from reading others' reviews on TUSCL (which were basically mixed, depending on whose you read), I didn't know what to expect.

The building is in an industrial area by a school bus depot. The road to it is wide and well-lit, and the parking lot seemed decent. The building had pretty poor outdoor signage, but since GPS told me where it was, and there was a temporary sign that advertised amateur night on 11/21, I knew I was in the right place.

When you open the front door, there's a glass "ticket window" to the right that looks like you're buying movie theater or Disneyland tickets. It's $10 to get it, except Mondays and Tuesdays are $5 and Wednesdays are free if you purchase a VIP dance at the time of entry. I paid $10 and got a wad of $1s.
