I hadn't ever been to Cheeks,...
I hadn't ever been to Cheeks, so I thought I'd give it a try. Out of all the clubs in the area, it looked like it had the most cars in the parking lot. Inside though, it was terribly empty. First I had to pay a $3 cover, and the guy at the door (who might've also been running things? He pushed me into buying a drink when I was inside, saying it was mandatory before sitting at the rail), and a tip to watch the cars.
The interior was huge, but super sparse, which only emphasized how little people were in there. The decor was pretty old. You could tell the upholstery had been there for a while. The place was decently lit, with some dark pockets, especially in the back where the chairs were arranged to form a lap dance area (I assume. I didn't get one, and I didn't see anyone use it). A couple girls were with guys at the bar, and there was a dancer on both of the stages. Most were skinny, but one had a great rack and nice legs. The girls themselves were not unattractive, but you could tell everyone was a little bummed to be there. The mood was just off.
I only talked to one girl with nice legs to get the info on the VIP area which was off to the left as soon as you entered - $40 to the club and then negotiate with the girl. But I wasn't feeling the place, so I just tipped her and left. Another random note was that more than a few of the clubs were hiring dancers, so it might be slim pickings at all of the Washington Park places.
