I get to El Paso once...

I get to El Paso once or twice a year and when I do, I try to hit the Red Parrot. The Red Parrot is a nice club as far as El Paso goes. It is a bit far out, but worth the trip. One advantage of being far out is that it is not subject to the city regulations on strip clubs, although the regulations don’t seem to have much effect on the clubs in the city. It is a topless club, but you can often see and touch more at the stage than you do at most topless clubs. One of the downsides is that it is an extra $20 to go into the VIP., but usually the attention one gets in the VIP area as opposed to the floor is much better. The VIP area is more than just couches for dances, with tables and waitress service, so once up there you can hang out at a table and get first dibs on the good dancers as they end their VIP dance. Plus the dancers know you if you are up there you are interested in VIP dances, so that is one variable removed in trying to get a dancer's attention. On the floor, table dances can be good, depending on the performer, but if the dancers are good on the floor, usually things will progress to the VIP area and get better. The staff is friendly and attentive for the most part.

For good dances, and worth the $20 trip to VIP area, check out Frida, Jenna, Ariel, Amber, Candy, and Sophie. They have irregular schedules, so there is no guarantee that they will be there when you visit, but if they are, check them out. Once a staple at the Red Parrot, Selena has moved to Tucson. She visits El Paso often though and works at the Red Parrot when she does, and a visit to the VIP area with her is well worth it. The day shift is usually more fun than the evening or night shift, but it depends a lot on the dancer.
