I took my first visit to...

I took my first visit to Follies after reading the predominately good reviews. I have somewhat mixed feelings on the club, although more good than bad. The club is located in an ok part of town (not seedy,) and was easy to locate. I am not big on valet parking, but no huge deal. No, inside the club it is smaller than you would think from looking at it outside. The seating is somewhat tight, & this was not at a crowded time. Now, the dancers were I would say in the 7-8 range on looks. I am not fond of Tats, so that one was thing that downgraded some to me. However, the ladies were attractive & could dance very well. Now to the dances. They were actually great for the cost. I did not partake in the Private dance area, but dances on the floor were great & much better than most (if not all) clubs you will find. Now, one drawback was that with this being a neighborhood club (instead of the clubs you see in touristy cities like Vegas), the ladies gravitated towards what seemed to be their regulars. Many stayed at 1 table with 1 or more guys & never left to circulate. Some were giving dances & others just talking. Also, there seemed to be ladies whom were over in the couch area just texting, and/or looking bored. Bad thing was that these were some of the most attractive dancers, lol! I contemplated going over, but some looked a bit detached, so was unsure of what the dance quality would be, so I just went with those whom approached me & seemed more enthused in general. In any case, this is definitely a top 5 club for me & could have been higher if dancers circulated more. Also, there was too much smoke in the club, to the point where my clothes were covered and my car smelled of smoke for a whole day. I am not a smoker, so that was a pain. One of the waitresses was rude when it came to hawking drinks, & I ended up leaving. I had spend a good sum on dances & yet being bugged about buying drinks? So, if driving back into ATL I would consider another visit, but may try elsewhere.
