I had a disappointing visit to PT’s back around Memorial Day, but I gave this place another go, mostly because it was close to the hotel I was staying in. I got there around 1:30am. The cover was $11. I grabbed a bottle of Budweiser which set me back $6.50. The crowd was sparse for a late Saturday night and what little of a crowd there was, was mostly urban. Besides the occasional stage tipper, very little money was changing hands. No one was going back for lap dances and why should they? You have to pay a $5 bracelet fee and then have a club employee stare at you via mirrors in the booths. Around 2:30am the waitresses came around and took everybody’s beers away, ready or not, a half hour before it needed to be done. The waitresses were hotter than two-thirds of the dancers. The music was mostly hip hop and pop. The ATM charges $6 or 10% of the transaction amount, whichever is greater.

There were a few pretty good looking dancers in the 7-8 range, but also quite a few that were more like 5’s and 6’s. A couple of the dancers were so skinny that they were unappealing to me. Thin is good, but two of the dancers looked anorexic. Three stages were going at once, only one of which had a pole. Dancers were making only $3-4 per stage set it seemed. As a result, some refused to take their tops off while on stage. I ran into Savannah who I got four dances from on my last visit here. I didn’t even recognize her at first. Last time, I rated her as almost a 10. On this visit, she looked much, much rougher, like a 6. The live-like-there’s-no-tomorrow lifestyle and drugs really takes a toll on these girls. I got the hard sell for a lap dance right after the greeting. She said she’d do three lap dances for $100. I played with her, saying that I only pay the base lap dance price of $25, so it was four for $100 or nothing. She was hungry for money so she reluctantly came down with her price. I then rejected her because she would likely give a lackluster performance having to work a little longer and harder to make that Benjamin. In general, few dancers circulated the room; most sat with regulars.

Overall, PT’s is still a big disappointment, despite a very nice physical club. I do not see how this place will be able to stay solvent in the current economy.
