I was in Memphis last week...

I was in Memphis last week for the third time in the past 2 months. The Pony was a great experience the last 2 trips on Thursday nights, despite the cover-up law, so I thought I would try it again, this time on Wednesday. Big letdown, but don’t know if the day of the week was the reason. Anyway, only a handful of customers, and the girls seemed resigned to it being a slow night. Most looked completely bored and made no effort to circulate. The last 2 trips, the place had a terrific party atmosphere. Smiles all around. This time, more like a graveyard. Luckily, one of the girls I bought dances from last time (named Heather, I think) came in late. I had to approach her—she caught the downer attitude of the others. But she perked up after we started talking. Went to the back for a couple of dances. Came out feeling it was money well spent, but overall the total experience was negative.
