Omars is...

Omars is just East of the Capitol on Michigan avanue and parking is either in front (metered) or around in back in a lot which is sometimes attended but not always. I parked free at the Lansing City market and walked on the river walk for a block right to Omars so save your money and get some exercise. I went on Monday and Tuesday in the afternoon ( I think they open around 3:00Pm so don't look for Lunch).As a Detroit club go-er this place is a little different than what I am used to. The girls were attractive and it was about 50-50 white and AA. On Monday I spent time with a thick beautiful girl and Tuesday I was with a long lean racer type. Drink prices are reasonable and cheaper than Detroit clubs. There was no cover and you can sit anywhere on the main floor during the day without an upcharge.The club is dark and they use disco balls so the lighting is opaque at best. There is a large stage in the middle of the room but the girls rarely use it and when they do they just walk around and wiggle a little. There is another smaller stage behind the bar and that is also a pose and look bar. The big differenc in this club is the dance arrangement. There is a standard $25.00 per private lap dance or a $250.00 for a 1/2 hour "private" lap dance or 1 $400.00 (!) for an hour deal. The 1/2 hour and full hour are $25.00 cheaper if you pay cash, and you should. The girls will imply that there is potential in the 1/2 hour and hour deals but do not be deceived. On Monday I took three dances with my girl and it was a great lap dance with a lot of contact but nothing else. On Tueday I sprang for the 1/2 hour (for investigative reasons) and I received a great 1/2 hour lap dance but nothing else. What was the difference? For my $250.00 The curtains got drawn, my belt got removed and it was a lot of contact. I guess this a good example of the sizzle. All dances take place upstairs where you are led by the hand. The upstairs has a separate bar area and several sitiing areas with couches tables and potted plants. There are several screens on the floor that break up the sight lines but do not afford privacy. If you buy the package deal you get the curtains dropped around one of the seating areas but it is still pretty busy and open up there. The upstairs experience reminded me of European brothels but there was no delivery on that memory.

You should go to Omars if you want a great lap dance and a cheap (for a club) drink. The packages are worth it if you normally get a dozen dances in a row from the same girl. This is not an extras club, although I suppose everyone has their price. It was not offered and when inquired about it was deftly deflected. I was offered numbers for OTC but ITC-nothing doing.I was told about other clubs in the area that did that sort of thing but Omars was " too classy" for that. Right. It was fun and sort of old timey at Omars but there is no sex in the champagne room.
