I was in town for the Cowboys/Broncos game and decided to hit up Club Onyx...a place that I had been to many times before during my trips to Dallas. I was excited to take a friend of mine and get a chance to show him how wild the clubs in Dallas can get. Boy were we disappointed! The actual club and dancers themselves were great....its just that they have TOO MANY PEOPLE in the club on Saturday night. We arrived around 10 or 11 at night and parked (there is valet but you don't have to use them)and them proceeded to wait in line for 10, minutes before we could enter. Once we were in and got drinks from the bar, we went to get a seat on the main floor but half of the tables were taken and the other half empty and reserved for those who wanted bottle service! My friend was then approached by a beautiful dark skinned sista (Onyx is an all-black strip club btw)who told us to go upstairs and that she would bring a friend up to dance for us. We managed to get two seats overlooking the main floor for our dances which were excellent and high mileage. However the club began to get more crowded to the point where we could not attract the attention of any dances based on where we were sitting. It seemed like it turned into a night club. Owner's really need to get a handle on this. We left after a few hours very disappointed since it was impossible to get any dances. I've always liked this club but Saturday nights get way too crowded. Go any other time of the week and have a ball.
