This was my third return to...
This was my third return to Men's Club to see if Malibu was in. Again, she wasn't.
There is a parking lot behind and valet parking but, I have usually either walked over from the casino or parked on the street. Just as convenient. After paying the sweetie at the door $10 cover, passing through the dark restaurant and past the high dollar private suite(s) you enter the club which is maybe 20 feet by 40 feet with one elevated stage and the lower dollar VIP next to the stage. Seating along the wall is pretty good and there are 5 or 6 stools at the barn opposite the stage. Music is tolerable level. Conversation is possible without shouting.
Typically, I have been shown to a seat, ordered a drink and before I even get my coat off, there is a lady or two in my lap pushing nearly immediately for the VIP.Pushy, pushy. Telling me how great it will be in the VIP, how she knows the special corners, how she can do more because she has a piece of the club, how she can get more time for less money. C'Mon Sweetie, I plan to be here a while, let me get my bearings, have a drink, warm up to the spirit of the room. I enjoy the company but, I would like to watch the stage for a bit, have a conversation about something besides how great it will be in the VIP and then negotiate. Sure, the ladies are there to make a buck and brning time on conversations is time not earning anything. But, if there is a connection made, more time will be be paid. Make a guy uncomfortable and the return is gonna be low to no. I have had good times here in the past but, this last time, first it was two ladies, then V... then two other ladies whose sales pitch was so good, I had to take one and done - that was 40. V.... came back saying she was insulted that I turned her down but took the other two. So, I had to get one from her then the hard sell started.
