Was on my way north on I-5 and headed to Sands but exited one ramp too soon so I decided to see what either Pandora or Ricks had to offer. The parking lot at Pandora was full so I continued on the Ricks. The parking lot was barely half full. Though this was a bad sign being a Saturday, but though I would at least look in hoping that since it was Saturday night that they would have their A list of dancers working. Paid the $20 entry fee. The place was not packed at all. easy to find a seat at a table. I watched a few dancers on stage, nothing spectacular for stage dancing. Then they had a 3 for $40 dance special and all the dancers went and paraded on stage. There was maybe 20 dancers and they ranged 5 to 7. Got a dance from one of the larger ladies hoping she would be a little more aggressive. One dance told me no. Had another dance from a smaller girl who was passionate while we chatted at my table but her dance was mechanical. Ready to give up I spotted an asian girl and flagged her over. normal english and a student, she promised her dances would be to my liking. We went into the $30 dance area and she suggested a chair that as more private than the others. Into the second dance she lost the top. I thought this was not permitted but she was not concerned. She said it would cost me $20 extra. I assumed that is the fine she would have to pay. I agreed to the extra. We then got very friendly, almost like the good old days of Ricks. Several dances later she made me very happy which ended my evening. She sat around and chatted with me after the dances; rare as most move on to their next customer. My visit may have been a lucky one but I will have to try another visit to see if it was just this one time.

One observation is that no one seemed worried about any cameras.
